About holly takes the lead

Hello!

Hello! My name is Holly, I am 29 years old!  I am the owner of Holly Takes the Lead, I started the business in 2022 because I wanted to be dedicated to spending every day helping owners and animals to remain relaxed, happy and healthy! Since starting this on my own, we now have the lovely Lou on the team who does pet sitting for Holly takes the Lead and we are crurently on the hunt for a dog walker to add to the team also! I adore animals and every day since starting my venture has been an absolute dream, thank you for visiting my site!

However, if home boarding is what you are looking for, I work very closely with a home boarder in Pulham St. Mary called Cranfod Dog Care. Michelle is absolutely fantastic and a natural with the dogs. Its a home from home for your pets!

      Terms and Conditions

      • These terms and conditions are deemed agreed upon a meet and greet taking place

      WALKS -

      • Payments are to be made monthly for routine walks via bank transfer unless agreed otherwise. Holly takes the lead will issue an invoice at the end of the month with a payment deadline.
      • No walks, home visits, sits or pet taxi will take place unless a meet and greet has been carried out and documents have been signed.
      • Please make sure you have read the Veterinary release form thoroughly. This form is for emergency purposes only. If the situation is not deemed an Emergency by the pet care provider and the animal is not showing any signs of distress or pain, Holly will ring the owners to make them aware. This would then be up to the owner to make a decision on how to proceed. Holly takes the Lead will only make vet trips in Emergency situations.
      • Holly Takes the Lead takes no responsibility for the loss of an animal if there is a pet flap installed in the property that can be used as an entry/exit. However every effort will be made to locate the pet and the owners will be contacted.
      • Should the pet care provider not be able to access the property for any reason, a call will be made to the owners of the pet/property to try and resolve this, if none are reachable the emergency contact will be used. If all are unavailable, the pet care provider reserves the right to leave the property and will not be liable for any implications this may have on the pet inside the property.
      • Holly takes the Lead will take no liability for any aggressive actions the dog may show towards another dog or human when out on a walk if a history of aggression was not made clear to the pet care provider at the time of the meet and greet taking place or at any other point.
      • Should a lead, collar or harness not be available at the time of the walk, Holly takes the Lead has the right to not walk the dog. A home visit, play in the garden will be conducted instead.
      • It is the clients responsibility to make sure their garden is secure and escape proof. Holly takes the Lead is not liable for any pets that should leave the premises due to it not being secure.
      • Unfortunately I do not take on intact male or females. The only exception would be if a dog was soon to be neutered. In this case solos walks only would be offered whilst intact.

      SITS -

      • If a sit is to be cut short or an emergency contact is needed to step in for any reason outside of the care providers control no refund for the sit will be given.
      • The emergency contact on the forms, in the event that the pet care provider cannot conduct the duration of the sit due to reasons outside of their control, the emergency contact will be expected to step in and conduct the remainder of the stay. An emergency contact will be used when the care provider deems it appropriate for them to step in.
      • Holly Takes the Lead takes no responsibility for the loss of an animal if there is a pet flap installed in the property that can be used as an entry/exit.

Holly takes the Lead will not be liable for any costs that may be incurred if a vets trip is needed.
      • All surveillance cameras need to be made aware to the pet care provider and all cameras placed in sleeping and washing areas are to be disabled at the time of the sit. Holly Takes the Lead reserves the right to turn such cameras off if they have not been turned off prior.

      • All planned visitors to the property at the time of the sit are to be made aware to the pet care provider.
      • The owner of the property/pets is expected to provide a number for someone trusted to call out to any household emergencies. Such as a leak, gas issue, electrical issue etc. Holly takes the Lead is insured with public liability, however takes no liability for any damages/costs to the property if an emergency such as a leak should happen at the time of the sit taking place.
      • Holly takes the Lead is not liable for any costs that may be incurred if more pet supplies are needed. Please make sure that all food, treats, cat litter etc is in enough supply for the duration of the sit.
